Zuihosho

Zuihosho (Order of the Sacred Treasure) is a Japanese order of merit, awarded in 8 classes (from 8th to 1st, in ascending order of importance). Generally awarded for long and/or meritorious service, and considered to be the lowest of the Japanese orders of merit (hosho). Since 1919, women have been eligible to receive the Zuihosho.
