Zophar

In the Book of Job, Zophar or Tzfar (צוֹפַר "Chirping; rising early", Standard Hebrew Ẓfar, Tiberian Hebrew Ṣp̄ar) is one of the friends of Job who visits to comfort him during his illness. Zophar suggests that Job's suffering could be divine punishment.
