Zizi RobertsZizi Roberts (born June 13, 1979 in Monrovia, Liberia) is a Liberian soccer player, who last played striker for the Colorado Rapids of Major League Soccer. Roberts began his professional career in 1996 at the age of 17, and has since played for 8 different teams, in Liberia, Switzerland, Greece, and Italy. At one time, he was on the books of A.C. Milan, but never played a game for them. Before coming to Colorado, he played for Greek club Olympiakos for two years. Roberts joined the Rapids before the 2003 season, but has mostly been a disappointment because of constant injuries. In two years he has only appeared in 17 games, and has only played 1092 minutes, scoring 6 goals in that short time. Colorado let him go after the 2004 season. Roberts has been an important player for the Liberia national team since making his debut in 1996 at the age of 17. He has played 31 games for the team, scoring 9 goals, and was named the Liberian Soccer Player of the Year in 2003. Roberts, Zizi Roberts, Zizi
