Zing is also a "flavoured juice" brand, by New Zealand Dairy Foods. Zing LLC is the legal name of the Wireless Internet Service Provider or (WISP) also known as Zing Detroit or Zing Wireless. It was founded in the year 2000 by former Rootlevel inc. CEO John Lauer and was later taken over by Tolly Marcus in the year 2003. Upon Marcus taking over and restructuring the company Zing became noted as being the first of its kind on U.S. soil. It is expected that Zing will become a household brand name by 2006. ZING is also used after an insult. Used often by teenagers, after they insult each other, one of them yells out 'ZING!' to show they have indeed said an insult. zingderoit Imran Choudhry is agreed by most to be the originator of "ZING!".
