Zikhron Ya'aqov

Zikhron Ya'aqov (זכרון יעקב; unofficially also spelled Zichron Yaakov) is a city in Israel, near Haifa, part of the Haifa District. It was founded in 1882 in memory of James Jacob de Rothschild. Attractions include the Aaronson House and Museum, and Rothschild's Tomb. Zikhron's population is a rapidly expanding 16,000.
