Zgmf-515 CgueThe ZGMF-515 CGUE is a commander-type mobile suit used by ZAFT during the Bloody Valentine War. It derives from the first production mobile suit, the ZGMF-1017 GINN. The CGUE's armaments are mostly similar to the GINN's, with a heavy sword and 76mm machine gun as its primary weapons. It also mounts a 28mm Vulcan on its shield (carried on the left arm). The CGUE is the mobile suit of choice of Commander Rau Le Creuset during the first half of the Bloody Valentine War, though after the Gundams are stolen, Commander Le Creuset usually stays behind on his flagship, the Nazca class destroyer Vesalius. It is fast and highly maneuverable, though in an atmosphere it must rely on the Guul subflight lifter to stay airborne. The CGUE's heavy assault machine gun fires a type of armor piercing round designated "APSV," this round is extraordinarily powerful, but is uncapable of dealing significant damage to enemies protected by Phase Shift armor. After the capture of four Earth Alliance prototype mobile suits, a small number of CGUEs were modified with the new beam weapon technology of the stolen suits. These units were redesignated YFX-200 CGUE DEEP Arms, and were equipped with a pair of large shoulder-mounted beam cannons and a long physical sword with a beam blade edge. One CGUE DEEP Arms was piloted by ZAFT ace Shiho Hahnenfuss of the Joule Squadron, who continued to use the suit even after the introduction of the ZGMF-600 GuAIZ rendered it obsolete.
