Zeleia

Zeleia is the name of an ancient city, according to Iliad, where Glaukos originated. Although Glaukos is one of the leaders of the Lycians who came to fight side by side with the Trojans, the others being Sarpedon from Xanthos, Pandaros probably from Pinara; there is no city with a name of Zeleia known to modern scholars nor to the ancient writers, except this instance in Homer's work. No city was discovered in the region of Lycia either bearing this name, today in the south west coast of modern Turkey.
