Zeitgeist Films

Zeitgeist Films is an American independent film distributor based in New York City. It was founded in 1988 by co-presidents Nancy Gerstman and Emily Russo. Zeitgeist Films films are strongly auteur-driven and offer a very distinct visual style and often unique content. Amongst the films it has released are: Nowhere In Africa, 'Taste of Cherry, Travellers and Magicians, Poison, and The Umbrellas of Cherbourg''.
