Zeddicus Zu'l ZoranderZedd is a fictional character in the Sword of Truth fantasy series by Terry Goodkind. He presents as a skinny old man, a cloud-reader, and a friend of Richard Cypher. He is well known for his voratious appetite. Plain robes, white unkept hair, and a clean shaven face are other identifying features. Actually, Zedd is Zeddicus Zu'l Zorander, the powerful First Wizard and the grandfather of the current Seeker of Truth, Richard Rahl. Another title given to him during the war was the Wind of Death. He shows a distaste to fancy robes that were pushed onto him by the bone woman Adie.
