Zamora (Province)

Zamora is a province of western Spain, in the western part of the autonomous community of Castile and Len. It is bordered by the provinces of Orense, Len, Valladolid, and Salamanca, and by Portugal. Of the 200,678 people (2002) in the province, nearly a third live in the capital, Zamora. See List of municipalities in Zamora.
