Zambales Mountains
The
Zambales Mountains
are on the western side of
Luzon
, in the
Philippines
. The mountains separate Luzon's central
plain
from the
South China Sea
and extend out as the
Bataan Peninsula
to the south, enclosing the
Manila Bay
.
Mount Pinatubo
is an active volcano in the mountain range and it erupted in
1991
