Zambales Mountains

The Zambales Mountains are on the western side of Luzon, in the Philippines. The mountains separate Luzon's central plain from the South China Sea and extend out as the Bataan Peninsula to the south, enclosing the Manila Bay. Mount Pinatubo is an active volcano in the mountain range and it erupted in 1991. See also: Geography of the Philippines
