Yves-joseph De Kerguelen-trmarec

Yves-Joseph de Kerguelen-Trmarec (1734 - March 3, 1797) was a French explorer. In 1772 Kerguelen-Trmarec sailed to the Antarctic where he discovered the Kerguelen Islands and took possession of various territories for France.
