Yusufu Lule

Yusufu Kironde Lule (1912 - 1985) was President of Uganda for a short period in 1979. He was installed as President by neighbouring Tanzania, who had toppled Idi Amin after his failed attempt to annex portions of Tanzania. Lule was the first of a swift succession of Ugandan leaders before the eventual return of Milton Obote in 1980. Lule Lule Lule
