Yue Jin

Yue Jin was an officer of Cao Cao during the period of the Romance of the Three Kingdoms. Noted as much for his short stature as for his prowess on the battlefield, Yue Jin gained multiple successes in his career under Cao Cao. He participated and contributed greatly in victories against Lu Bu, Liu Bei, Qiao Rui, Yuan Tan, Yuan Shang, Sui Gu, Zhang Chao, Gao Gan, Guan Cheng, and Zhang Xiu. Of generals of note, he killed Chunyu Qiong and Yan Jing. Later on in his career, he was stationed further south and achieved notable victories against generals such as Su Fei, Guan Yu, and again, Liu Bei. His last great battle was the famous defense of Hefei, in which he, Zhang Liao, and Li Dian all defended against a much larger army of Wu led by Sun Quan himself. Yue Jin died a short while after. Yue Jin is noted for possibly being a woman, although this has not been widely accepted among historians, as women were regarded as unfit for the battlefield.
