Young Liberals Of Canada (Manitoba)

The Young Liberals of Canada (Manitoba) is the Manitoba chapter of the Young Liberals of Canada, the youth wing of the Liberal Party of Canada, the governing party of Canada since 1993. The wing was formed in 2001 following the division of the Young Liberals of Manitoba into federal and provincial wings to comply with provincial legislation that made a joint federal/provincial youth wing impossible. The Young Liberals of Canada (Manitoba) have several campus clubs throughout Manitoba, including the University of Manitoba, University of Winnipeg and Brandon University. The current president of the organization is Kristopher Ade who became president in fall of 2004 following the departure of the founding president, Richard Diamond, who is currently running for the presidency of the Young Liberals of Canada at their biennial meeting in March 2005.
