You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown

You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown is a musical comedy based on the characters created by cartoonist Charles M. Schulz in his comic strip Peanuts. Clark Gesner provided the music and witty lyrics for the songs, including such theatre standards as "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown", "Snoopy", "Little Known Facts", and "Happiness." Originally produced in the mid-sixties with Bob Babalan and Gary Burghoff, the musical sparked a 1999 Broadway revival featuring Kristin Chenoweth and Roger Bart, both of whom received Tony awards for their outstanding interpretation. Andrew Lippa and Michael Mayer provided additional lyrics and dialogue for this classic American piece of musical theatre.
