York Mills (Ttc)York Mills is a station on the Yonge-University Spadina line of the Toronto subway. It is located at 4015 Yonge Street at Wilson Avenue/York Mills Road. It opened in 1973. The line passes under the Don River West Branch at this point, with a passage at one end of the station actually extending under the small river. The original plan was for the river to be bridged, with the station above ground, but local residents objected and the underground layout was substituted. Consequently, trains approach the station from both directions on a steep downgrade.
