Yigal Allon

Yigal Allon (October 10, 1918- February 29, 1980) was a famous Israeli Labour Party statesman. He served as: He also served briefly as acting Prime Minister of Israel following the death of Prime Minister Levi Eshkol in 1969. Allon was a senior commander in the Palmach.
