Yavapai"Yavapai" is the name of a native american people of central Arizona. There are two separate and independent tribes: the Yavapai-Apache Nation near Camp Verde, AZ and the Yavapai-Prescott Indian Tribe at Prescott, AZ. Yavapai County in central Arizona was named for the Native Americans of the area. "Yavapai" is also the Yuman language spoken by the Yavapai people.
