Norwegian company Yara is a world leading supplier of plant nutrients in the form of mineral fertilizers. The core business of Yara is production and marketing of nitrogen fertilizer such as urea and nitrates. Yara also produces and sells ammonia, the key raw material for all nitrogen fertilizers. The company was created in 2004 by splitting Hydro Agri division from Norsk Hydro. Yara's main office is located in Oslo.
