Yaiba

Yaiba is a shōnen manga series by Gosho Aoyama. The light-hearted manga is about an adventuring samurai named Yaiba Kurogane (鉄 刃 Kurogane Yaiba) who knows nothing else but being a samurai. Yaiba lives with his father in the forest. One day when Yaiba is hunting down animals just like usual, a troops of gorillas came to attack. They escape and went hiding inside a box, but they never knew this box is full of fruits and is going to be transport into the city... In the city, Yaiba finds out that he is the lengendary warriors and had to fight the evil... The story begins. Yaiba ran in Shogakukan's Weekly Shonen Sunday from #39 of 1988 to #50 of 1993 for 24 total volumes. It also came in 13 double volumes.
