Yacas

Yacas is an open source, general-purpose, easy-to-use computer algebra system. The name is an acronym for Yet Another Computer Algebra System. Yacas is built on top of its own programming language designed for this purpose, in which new algorithms can easily be implemented. The language is closely related to LISP WH89, and includes expression transformation (term rewriting) as a basic feature of the language. Yacas handles input and output in plain ASCII, either interactively or in batch mode.
