Xzibit

right Xzibit is an American hip-hop artist, born Alvin Nathaniel Joiner on January 8, 1974 in Detroit, Michigan. Xzibit also hosts the MTV television show Pimp My Ride. Xzibit got his start as a member of the Likwit Crew which toured with Tha Alkaholiks in 1995. In 1996 Xzibit made his solo debut with At the Speed of Life, produced by DJ Muggs (of Cypress Hill) and Diamond D. 40 Dayz & 40 Nightz followed in 1998. In 2000, Xzibit released Dr. Dre-produced Restless, followed by Man Vs. Machine in 2002. His most recent album is "Weapons of Mass Destruction".

Early life

Xzibit has a very close relationship with his mother, shown in his music. Unfortunately she passed away when he was 9 years old. After his mother passed away, Xzibit continued to live with his father. At age 10, he began rapping and also moved with his family to New Mexico. After constantly getting into trouble, Xzibit's father kicked him out at age 14.
