Xcel Energy Center

Xcel Energy Center is a sports arena in Saint Paul, Minnesota sponsored by Xcel Energy. It is the home of the NHL's Minnesota Wild. The city of Saint Paul owns the arena. It opened in the fall of 2000 and it is called by fans the "X". In addition, Xcel Energy Center is regularly sold out for musical concerts. The National Lacrosse League's Minnesota Swarm began regular season play the arena in January, 2005.
