Wormdigger

This article should be merged with Marine Worm Harvester
Wormdiggers are found mostly in the state of Maine. They harvest both sandworms and bloodworms from mudflats all over the Maine coast. There are well over 2,000 wormdiggers. The industry is heavily regulated. A license must be obtained prior to the sale of marine worms and the harvesting itself must be done by hand with a tool called a worm hoe. See also Marine Worm Harvester.
