World Parliament Of Religions

The World Parliament of Religions is an interfaith conference that was first held in Chicago from September 11 to September 27, 1893 and again in 1993. At the latter meeting it was decided to hold a Parliament every five years, and in 1998 one was convened in Cape Town, South Africa.
