WordforgeWordforge is a bulletin board primarily for discussion of political issues and current events. The site also includes forums for arts & entertainment, technology, science and member creative works. Forums Public forums include: - The Red Room lightly moderated discussion of current events, politics, religion, beliefs, news, and other topics that could and often do - become heated.
- The Green Room threads containing jokes, fun things, and community related discussion.
- Computer Speak a forum devoted to discussion of computers, video games, and technology.
- The Brain Society discussion of science and of developments in the scientific community.
- The Workshop a forum devoted to user-created stories, art, and movies, and discussion thereof. Co-moderated by Margaret Wander Bonnano, a published science-fiction author.
- Media Central - Discussion of music, movies, and television.
History Wordforge was created in 2003 as a creative arts and discussion board. However most of the early user base consisted of members and disgruntled ex-members of the Star Trek board TrekBBS's "Neutral Zone" forum community.
