Word Processor Of The Gods (Stephen King)

Word Processor of the Gods is a short story by Stephen King published in the Skeleton Crew collection. In the days when dedicated word processors were still popular, the main character, a middle aged man dead tired of his bad-tempered wife, his no-good teenage son, and life in general, gets a gift from his nephew, a teenage genius. It is a custom built word processor. Unfortunately, that kid has died in a car accident recently, so the main character is on his own to figure out how to use it. He discovers that with this word processor he can write things into existence and delete them -- at least, as long as it can last.
