Wood Green Tube Station
Wood Green tube station
is a station on the
Piccadilly Line
, between
Turnpike Lane
and
Bounds Green
stations, and in
Travelcard Zone 3
. It was opened 19 September 1932, and like all the northern Piccadilly line stations was designed by
Charles Holden
. The
National Rail
station now called
Alexandra Palace
was formerly called Wood Green; it was renamed in 1984.
