Women's Educational Equity Act

The Women's Educational Equity Act is the name of various landmark laws passed by the United States Congress outlining federal protections against the gender discrimination of women in all phases of education in the nation. The most famous of such acts is called Title IV-A of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965, introduced in the United States House of Representatives by Congresswoman Patsy Mink of Hawaii.
