Wolfville, Nova Scotia

Wolfville, formerly known as Mud Creek, is a small town in the rural Annapolis Valley, Kings County, Nova Scotia, Canada, located about 100 km (62 mi) northwest of the provincial capital, Halifax. In the past few years several of the older Victorian houses in Wolfville have been converted to bed and breakfast establishments. Wolfville is a popular tourist destination, both for the unique scenery of the Bay of Fundy and for the many cultural attractions which are offered by the University and by the town. Wolfville is home to Acadia University and the Atlantic Theatre Festival. In the 1970s, Wolfville was declared a nuclear-free zone.
