Witches' Milk

  Witch's milk
Witches' milk, Witch's milk, or (incorrectly) Witches milk is an abnormal discharge from a newborn's nipple(s). The discharge is a response to high maternal prolactin (the hormone responsible for maternal lactation) levels and should disappear within two weeks as the prolactin levels reduce in the newborn who is no longer attached to his/her mother.
