Windsor Station

1887-1889

The Windsor Station was the Canadian Pacific Railway 's new headquarter built between 1887-1889. This Richardsonian building built by New York architect Bruce Price was constructed at a cost of $300 000.

1916

In 1916, the Windsor Station was enlarged upwards with its main tower rising to 15 storeys and easily changed Montreal's skyline.

Today

Today the station is no longer Montreal's central station, it is not even the headquarters for the CPR. It is but a consortium of offices and hotel rooms and hosts the annual beer festival.
