Wind-up Radio

A wind-up radio is an FM/AM radio receiver, sometimes incorporating a flashlight or other useful device, powered by a handcrank which charges an internal battery. This type of radio is very useful in areas of the world where replacement batteries are hard to obtain and rechargeable ones are impracticable because of the lack of mains power from which to charge them. Some models have a multiple power sources: wind-up, solar, conventional batteries, A/C, etc.
