Willow Glen

Willow Glen is a neighborhood in San Jose, California. The area was annexed to San Jose in 1936, after promises that residents would be connected to the city's sewage system. As of 2004, this has not been completed, with many older homes still using septic tanks. The area is southwest of Downtown San Jose, south of the Midtown and Rose Garden neighborhoods, east of the West Valley neighborhoods, and north of the Cambrian Park neighborhood and the city of Campbell, California It is a mostly an upper-middle class area. Most of the homes were constructed in the 1860s - 1920s, and therefore are some of the oldest homes in San Jose.
