William Morice

Sir William Morice (c. 1628 - 7 February 1690) was an English royalist statesman of the 17th century who served as Secretary of State for the Northern Department and a Lord of the Treasury from June 1660 to September 1668; he was created a baronet on 20 April 1661. In 1689, he entered the House of Commons as MP for Newport, but died a year later.
