William Drayton (Environmentalist)

William Drayton (born 1943) is an American envirnmentalist and social activist from New York City. After attending New Yorks's public schools, William went on the Harvard (BA 1965), Oxford (MA 1967), and Yale Law (JD 1970). He then worked as a consultant for McKinsey & Company. Drayton founded and currently heads a foundation, Akosha, Innovstors for the Public. During the Carter adminstration (1977-1981) he was an Assistant Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency. He has been a visiting Professor at Harvard and Stanford.
