William Birkin

William Birkin was the original discoverer and refiner of the G-Virus found inside of Lisa Trevor (See Wesker's Report II). According to the second game, Resident Evil 2, he injected the virus into himself to do two things; protect his life as well as protect his lifes work. He did this after soldiers from the USFU (Umbrella's Special Forces Unit) shoot him for not giving away the G-Virus. Like with the T-Virus, the virus reanimated him post-mortem through a mass-cellular genetic mutation. This creature is called by some simply Birkin, or aswell as G-Tyrant, G-Mutation, and so on... He is a boss in the second Resident Evil game and is responcible for the deaths of Cheif Brian Irons of the Raccoon City Police Department as well as the death of reporter Ben Bertolucci of the Raccoon City Times. You battle him in four forms. Each one more difficult than the prior version to defeat; giving rise to the idea that the mutations are not random, but rather a form of extreme accelerated evolution... William Birkin was the husband to Annette Birkin and father to Sherry Birkin.
