Will Sasso

Will Sasso (born May 24, 1975) is an actor, comedian who was born in Ladner, British Columbia, Canada to Italian parents Antonio and Anna. Sasso decided at an early age to become a comedic actor. At fifteen he landed his first agent and began booking roles in television and film. At the age of 21, he landed his first major role on the award-winning Canadian drama, Madison, as the quirky teen, Derek Wakaluk, for five seasons. Sasso then moved to Hollywood where he starred for five seasons on FOX's hit sketch comedy series, Mad TV. As one of its most corpulent members, he kept audiences entertained with an extensive variety of characters and innovative sketch concepts. After a successful tenure with the show, beginning in 1997, Sasso decided to leave the late-night staple in 2002, in hopes of furthering his career. Moviegoers know Sasso from his roles in over twenty-five feature films, including Best in Show and A Mighty Wind, both directed by Christopher Guest, Drop Dead Gorgeous, Beverly Hills Ninja, starring the late Chris Farley, and The Hot Chick, starring Rob Schneider and produced by Adam Sandler, with whom Sasso previously worked on Happy Gilmore. He currently lives in Los Angeles and can be seen on ABC's "Less Than Perfect" TV Series as cafeteria manager, Carl Monari.
