Wilhelm Fabry

William Fabry (also Guilelmus Fabricius Hildanus) (June 25, 1560 in Hilden?-1634). Fabry was the most famous German medicus (Wundarzt) of that time. He is considered as one of the founder of scientific surgery.
  • In 1579 - Bader Geselle in Dsseldorf of the extraordenary court surgeon Cosmas Slot.
  • In 1587 - He married Colinet, the daughter of a Genevese printer.
  • 1602 - 1615 Surgeon in Payerne (Switzerland) and Lausanne.
  • 1615 - 1634 Surgeon in Berne on the wish of the city council
