wichita thunder

The Wichita Thunder are a minor league hockey team based in Wichita, Kansas. The team plays in the Central Hockey League. The Thunder play in The Kansas Coliseum, located North of Wichita. The Wichita Thunder are one of the six original teams that formed the Central Hockey League in 1992, the other five being, Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Memphis, Fort Worth, and Dallas. The Thunder ended the 92-93 season in last place. They then went from worst to first and were the CHL Champions in the 1993-94 and 1994-95 seasons.
