Whyy-tv

WHYY-TV is a PBS affiliate on television channel 12 (DTV 55), and serves the Delaware Valley area, which is the metro area of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Offices are located in Philadelphia and Wilmington, Delaware. Both the TV and FM transmitters are located in the Roxborough section of Philadelphia. WHYY also operates WDPB TV in Seaford, Delaware, which transmits the programs shown on WHYY to southern Delaware. WDPB's transmitter is located in Seaford. WHYY-TV produces at least four regular TV series for PBS: Hometime, Lidia's Italian-American Kitchen, Christina Cooks, and Jim Coleman's Flavors of America; with MoneyTrack to begin in April 2005. It also has produced several TV specials, such as The Great Comet Crash and Trading Women.
