What Is Linear Aeration

What is linear aeration?
Linear Aeration is a relatively new process of aerating, allowing water to penetrate the soil and to be retained in the proper amounts. Linear Aeration also adds organic nutrition, soil softeners (humus, top soil, compost, sand, clay etc)if necessary. The other property of Linear Aeration is to alleviate excessive water of turf areas.
The process of Linear aeration consists of adding the necessary organic matter on top of the turf. The subsequent process is to cut grooves into the turf to let the soil additives enter the soil and recover the grooves in the same passage. Linear aeration provides: -smoother Turf Surfaces -alleviates soil compactaion in heavy traveled areas -permits Proper distribution of soil additives -allows Organic Nutrition absorption -promotes Superior root development -allows for only minimal interruption of utilization of Athletic fields -drastically reduces disruption of actual turf surface when compared to core aeration
