WGRZ-TV is the callsign of a television station in Buffalo, New York. It first went on the air in 1954 as WGR-TV. Its transmitter is located on Warner Hill Road in South Wales, New York. It served as an ABC, then ? until WKBW-TV was created. The format is Channel 2 News, prior to 1998, it was 2 News. The partner station for the area is WPXJ (PAX 51).

Logo

The logo represented a yellow triangle over the blue and had the 2 in common Avant Garde? text. The logo in 1998 changed to a bluer with a red heading on the bottom reading WGRZ-TV Boffalo, New York. The NBC logo is on the left and is not pronounced with NBC at all but it is an affiliate. In 2000, the lottery programming are presently broadcasting on Channel 2.
