WestyWesty is a suburban district in Warrington , England. The village of Westy is a suburban area , itself unofficially a suburb of Latchford. The area features mainly inter-war council housing which is today showing its age. Despite this there is an apparent strong community spirit with its hub at the community centre. Use in Australian English Derogatory term used for people living in the western suburbs of Sydney, a large example of urban sprawl home and seemingly endless suburbs. These suburbs are infamous for their environmental devastation and immense social problems.
