West London Line
The
West London Line
is a short overground railway linking
Clapham Junction
in the south to
Willesden Junction
in the north. Trains run only ever half hour and are operated by
Silverlink
. Additional passenger trains are run hourly along much of this route by
Southern
having started from
Brighton
or
Gatwick Airport
before skipping
Willesden Junction
to head up to
Watford Junction
. The line also carries considerable freight and is used by
Eurostar
trains for transfer between
Waterloo International
and the depot at
North Pole Junction
.
