West Indies Dollar

The West Indies dollar was a currency used by the British West Indies and, later, by the West Indies Federation. It was adopted in 1935, originally at the rate of $4.80 per Pound sterling. In 1962, British Guyana and Trinidad and Tobago withdrew from the currency union. It was replaced in 1965 with the East Caribbean dollar.
