Wesley HeightsWesley Heights is a small neighborhood in Washington, DC near Tenleytown. Wesley Heights was in fact farm land until the late 1920s, when developer W.C. & A.N. Miller bought up all of what is now Wesley Heights to start a development. Previously, in addition to being farm land, it was a stop on the road to rich people's "country" houses in Bethesda, merely two or three miles away. Coincidentally, Wesley Heights became (and still is) a neighborhood for rich white folks. It has been called "the suburbs in the city" by many Washingtonians and visiting tourists.
