Webster University Vienna

Webster University Vienna is the Austrian branch of Webster University. It was founded in 1981 as Austria's first private university. It currently has about 450 students enrolled in its bachelor's and master's programs. Private universities are only of marginal importance in Austria. The degrees of Webster University Vienna are accredited in the United States (via the accreditation of Webster University in the state of Missouri) as well as in Austria (via the Akkreditierungsrat, the Austrian government's accreditation authority for private universities).
