Webert Sicot

Webert Sicot (born 1934) is a Haitian composer and band leader. He was one of the founders of Compas Direct, a style of Haitian dance music in the 1950s. In 1961 he began a solo career and became of the pioneers of cadence rampa. See also: Music of Haiti Sicot, Webert Sicot, Webert
